| Balkanbeat is hot! What about ‘Bulgarbeat’? The Balkanbeat fever, having spread throughout Western Europe, focuses mainly on Serbian and Romanian music. Fusion Embassy is trying to provoke Bulgarian DJ producese to recreate their musical roots into contemporary beats and hence have the heart of the Balkans find its place in the international fusion scene. The Fusion DJ Rally has 10 Bulgarian DJ’s of all styles –techno, reggae, hiphop, …- battle for the title and our platform of promotion. This year's challenge was to remix productions of Balkan Horses Band, Oratnitza and Kipri Choir. After two semifinals and a final, SoundForia won the competition! |
